1. All
returns to Advantech for credit must be authorized in
advance with an Advantech Return Material Authorization
Number. To receive your RMA number, the customer should
download the Credit RMA form from the eAutomationPro/Advantech
website or request these form from their Sales Assistant.
Simply complete the form, sign and date them and fax
to your eAutomationPro/Advantech Sales Team at 513-742-4451.

2. Material returned to Advantech
for credit shall be subject to a restocking charge based
on the following schedule.*
BTOS Orders (Orders with
Option Codes for Integration)
- Material requested to be returned
within 0-60 days of the original invoice date shall
incur a 20% restocking charge.
- Material requested to be returned
with 61-90 days of the original invoice date shall
incur a 30% restocking charge.
- No material shall be accepted for
return if requested more than 90 days from the original
invoice date.
Component Orders
- Material requested to be returned
within 0-30 days of the original invoice date shall
incur a 0% restocking charge.
- Material requested to be returned
with 31-60 days of the original invoice date shall
incur a 20% restocking charge.
- Material requested to be returned
within 61-90 days of the original invoice date shall
incur a 30% restocking charge.
- No material shall be accepted for
return if requested more than 90 days from the original
invoice date.
3. All material returned to Advantech
must be in re-saleable condition as determined by Advantech.
Material should be returned in original Advantech boxes
and include all original packaging, manuals, disks,
and other originally included hardware and components.
Returns that do not meet this requirement may be denied
or subject to an additional restocking charge as determined
by the Advantech RMA Dept.
4. Customers are responsible for all freight charges
to return material to Advantech.
5. In no case will outbound freight charges billed on
the original invoice be credited to the customer when
material is returned.
6. Returns for Special Order material or material not
normally stocked by Advantech will be authorized for
return only if our Vender will accept the material for
return. If accepted, any restocking charges imposed
by our Vender for this material above and beyond our
normal restocking fees will be passed along to the customer.
7. Once an RMA is issued for return of material, it
is valid for 30 days. Material received in our Fremont
CA warehouse more than 30 days from issuance of the
RMA may not be credited and will be returned to the
customer at their expense. It is the responsibility
of the customer to ensure the material is returned within
this tim frame.
8. Material returned to Advantech that is not shown
on the initial Credit RMA request will be returned to
the customer at their expense.
9. Advantech reserves the right to revise any part of
the above without notice.
* Approved Evaluation Orders ( Option401 ) are exempt
from restocking fees if requested to be returned within
the Evaluation period. After the Evaluation Period has
expired, the above policy will apply. See the Advantech
Product Evaluation Policy.
